Data Warehouse

Global Edge Integrated Manufacturing starts with an "Engineering & Manufacturing Data Warehouse" that provides a digital framework to integrate your various hardware and software technologies.

Data Warehouse Workflow Description

The philosophy behind the Data Warehouse which we refer to as the “Engineering & Manufacturing Data Warehouse” is to provide a centralized, single version of truth database that multiple software and hardware technologies throughout the manufacturing enterprise can connect to. This includes the capability to have a two-way data exchange between ERP and the Data Warehouse. As information is generated in ERP the Global Edge Integrated Manufacturing software can be setup to automatically translate ERP information to the Data Warehouse that can then be shared with other software technologies that includes 3D CAD, CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and Scheduling software. Conversely, information generated in these systems can be translated back to your ERP system without the need of having to manage silos of information unconnected with ERP, including spreadsheets. The types of information that can be stored in the Data Warehouse and can be exchanged with ERP includes the following:
