Global Edge includes an "Automated Work Queue" that eliminates the manual generation of daily shop floor information. This functionality provides the capability to automatically process your daily ERP / MRP production orders. Global Edge includes an optional ERP / MES Interface that provides a direct, two-way, real-time connection to your ERP, MES, and CRM system. As part of the automated processing of daily production orders, this includes sheet metal batch unfolding, manufacturability testing to determine if each part can be successfully fabricated, and the automated generation of job / work orders.
The above screen provides the capability to process single parts or large bath of part files. With the processing of each file, you have the option of performing the following actions:
  • Generation of DXF Flat Files
  • Generation of SAT, IGES, 2D & 3D PDF Files
  • Automated Importation and Analysis of 48 CAD Part Parameters
  • Performs Design For Manufacturing (DFM) Manufacturabiity Test
