Global Edge Engineering Assistant includes functionality that automates the generation of a complete manufacturing bill of materials from an engineering bill of materials. The Global Edge system provides the automated generation of engineering and complete manufacturing bill of materials. Utilizing the Global Edge Configuration Engine and a direct interface to SolidWorks 3D CAD, Global Edge generates a bill of materials that eliminates the need for BOM spreadsheets and automatically generates routings to produce a complete manufacturing bill of materials.
