Hot Part Processing and Tracking
Global Edge Engineering Assistant includes functionality that includes an Automated Production Work Queue that automatically processes daily production to prepare information for the shop floor. This preparation of information includes the automated processing of DXF Flat Files from 3D CAD models. During this process, the software performs a Manufacturability Test that determines if a part can be successfully fabricated before leaving engineering.
In the event of having to process Hot Parts such as priority rush orders and/or defective parts, the software makes it simple process to reprioritize processing and tracking of these parts. Key features and benefits include the following:
